The error displayed by Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) is because it cannot authenticate with the platform access credentials.
In these cases, we recommend creating an Adobe ID and authenticating the tool with those credentials. Don't worry, it's free.
Here are the steps to follow:
Create an Adobe ID
1. Go to http://www.adobe.com/es
2. Click Sign In > Create Account > Fill in the appropriate text boxes on the form > Create Account > Enter your Adobe ID and password.
Authorize your computer and eReader with ADE
Open ADE on your computer > In Help, click Authorize Computer > Click OK when Adobe completes the authorization of your computer
- Provider: Adobe ID
- Identifier: the Adobe identifier you created
- Password: assigned password
