How to re-authenticate ADE on a MAC computer

If you haven't already done so, you must enable hidden files to be displayed in Finder:

a) Go to the Go tab > Applications > Utilities and double-click Terminal.

b) Enter the command defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE and press Enter.

c) Then press the Alt key, right-click on the Finder icon and select Force Restart.

To re-authenticate, follow these steps:

1. Completely close the Adobe Digital Editions reading application.
2. Open the file explorer: Go to / Users / Library / Application Support / Adobe / Digital Editions.
Drag the activation.dat file to the trash (this will deauthorize the device).
3. Restart the ADE reading application and reauthorize with your credentials.
