Guest Accounts

This feature allows the user to invite other people (family members) to become members of the Odilo Learning Ecosystem.

The main features of this new functionality are as follows:

• In the User Area Account section, there is a section where the user can invite up to a maximum of X family members to be members of the platform. By default, the maximum number of invitations is 3.

• To facilitate and simplify the invitation process, the user will only need to enter the email address of the person they want to invite to use the platform. This email will be the identifier that the invited person must use to access the platform.
• The invited person will receive an email explaining the reason for this notification and the steps they must take to access the platform.
• Users who access through an invitation will have a specific profile associated with them.
• Once an invitation has been sent, it cannot be deleted.
• The Content Preferences functionality is not available for users who access the platform through this invitation, so if this functionality is activated on a platform and the user is allowed to invite others to be members of it, when they access, they will not have the Profiling or Onboarding form available.

Note: This functionality replaces the Tutor functionality for K12 clients
