To listen to the book's content aloud, tap the center of the screen. You will see a triangle-shaped icon in the bottom bar. By pressing it, the device will read the text aloud and, as it progresses, the words being read will be highlighted in color.
You will have a player at the bottom of the screen where you can adjust the playback speed and select the accent of the language in which you want to listen to the text.
Important: If you use an Android device and the text is not read correctly or is not in the appropriate language, check your device settings to ensure it is using Google's text-to-speech option, as some manufacturers include their own option that may not be compatible.
Some text content does not allow this action. If the book's format does not permit using this feature, an informative message will appear.
This feature is designed as an accessibility tool, so the voice may have a more technological tone. If you prefer an audiobook with a smoother and more natural voice, you can choose a resource in that format directly from the catalog.
